So I just received a wide body globe that I bought to go with a pair of black T Texaco lenses that I have. It looks marvelous!!!
My question is, this body had a large hollow threw it. There is no milk glass behind the lenses. It is not solid like most I've seen. I've tried to search, but to no avail.
So what's up with this type of globe body?

Both Hull bodies and Gill bodies are open thru the center but a Gill bodied globe attaches the lenses with the use of a metal band, while the Hull body has provisions for the 2 screws at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Both of these type bodies will let more light thru when lit up and personally, I prefer them to a regular capco milk glass body. Both will command a slightly higher value than the capco also.

Thanks Kevin! So this is a Hull body then I guess. Certainly not a gill with the bands. It does in fact have the screws as you described.
