Hello, I've got a glass globe with screw hole at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions as well as notches(not holes) at the 12,8, and 4 o'clock positions. Is this a reproduction or was this a common way to manufacture globes?

I am not a globe expert, but it could be an original ball crank design. A picture on here would certainly help the experts shed some light on what you actually have. I have never seen a ball crank globe but if that is what you have they are always in high demand. Welcome to OG by the way.

scroll down a few topics and look at "info on this milk glass body by Tbirdgas". If your is like Paul's, it's original. Richard

That is just about as good as it gets! Even has the remains of the original sticker on it.
