I restored one of these for a customer, years ago. I had to have the conduit pieces made. I used Ferguson Plumbing Supply to make all the needed shorts and longs. I used el bows for 90's and unions to join. Looked great and worked fine. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Dave, this is a great question because I've been having all sorts of trouble with making my conduits for my Fry 70. The tight radius and the short legs on the conduit are making things difficult with threading. I'm making a set right now with the help of an electrician. We're using a bending machine first, then threading by hand.

I made them by hand when I worked in a vocational high school. I just don't have access to a pipe bender or threading equipment now. Thick wall electrical conduit is tough stuff and does a good job. Good luck with your 70. Send me a photo. Dave

GPH has Fry 71 conduit. Is it the same as a 70?

70, 71, 80, and 81 are the same I believe. I will give them a try. Thanks, Dave
