Does anyone make reproduction clips that would go onto the back of stainless or aluminum trim ?
They have a flat part with a stud on them to go through the sheetmetal and have a nut on the end.
Thanks

I've made them before using brass strips and screws. The screws are soldered to the cut pieces of strip. Work great and can be made for any size trim. I got the idea from a Milwaukee clockface pump.

I use these for just about any type of trim. They are called universal trim clips and as mentioned you can get them about anywhere.
Tom.

The ones I need are only 1/2" long and 3/8" wide. They go into Bennett 155 stainless. Also anyone know when up here in this hole, no show in the books. About a 1" Threaded hole.

Craig ..1 inch thread hole is for the pricer..I used the stainless clips Tom Buckles pictured... Might have a lock but not sure if I have a key...The 2 1/2 inch hole in front of the globe mount ring is the breather and you need the original tank that goes under skin to mount the breather cap... Call me tomorrow if you need pictures.. Tom

I also used the clips Tom Buckles pictured on the same 155 trim. They come in a lot of sizes. You need a small one.

How do you get solder to stick to stainless. I've tried to get the original studs soldered to a Gilbarco 96 trim with no luck.

Gilbarco 96 trim just snaps over a full length steel mounting bracket that bolts directly to the pump. The stainless is just the decorative trim over the top of the bracket, and has no hardware holding it on!

Kevin, my studs are soldered directly to the trim. I've had a few Gilbarcos like that.
