Does the pump have some kind of function or is it static?

The pump is static. Had a former SWP employee send me a photo on Facebook that had a pen setup on the right side. Just the first something to go with my OK7D pump. Hector

These little pumps came out in the 1980s and were in kit form when they were originally designed. The design was sold to Gear Box. They sold them assembled ready to display. Some were with a wood base, a wood base with a pen holder or by itself. There were four styles, tapered,straight,square and stove pipe. I bought a bunch of early kit form pumps from an oldgas member and built them. Here is a link to the original for sale ad. I had fun painting and building them
