Is the To Car/To Storage Set up on the attached pics correct? Is there a 1 piece unit that goes on top of the tube and I have 2 broken pieces? Does anyone have a picture of the proper set-up? Also on the light arms, was there any reverse threading done originally to put them together or was the idea that you would run the coupling all the way up on one of the halves and then put the other half of the pipe up to it and send the coupling back down on to it? Thanks

I have seen two different versions of the way the floats mount.
Yours looks even a little different than both of them. I am guessing there may be many variations.

I have attached a couple of pictures of the one I have so you can see how it just threads onto the top of the pipe - It is just a one piece casting

You are correct on the conduit coupling(not light arms). They also used the one piece iron coupling that you can purchase at Lowes.Dave

It looks like my one-piece casting is in at least 3 pieces for the floats. I will have to see if I can get it repaired if I decide to keep the pump.

Dave- Thanks for the clarification on the conduit. I assume the top and the jar base each get their respective 2 pieces threaded into them and then you line up the ends and run the coupler down to join it all together? Thanks for the replies. Daveb

Catauladave
Our Lowes only has the couplings that have a raised ridge around both ends Have not seen the smooth ones there

It has been twenty+ years so bear with me. Seems like you machined 1/2 threads out of the bottom coupling. The idea is that the top coupling covers both ends of your conduit and the bottom coupling screws up against it to "jam" it with no visible threads. Have I confused you ? lol Every 17 that I have found had the one piece iron couplings. Dave
