Don't know of any gas shows, but a visit to the Petersen Auto Museum might be interesting.

There's supposedly a crying convention going on there that week,hosted by the Ducks.

June 7th Pomona Auto Swat Meet, google George Cross and Sons, some Petrol shows up some time.
