I restored a Service Station Equipment 132 (Bennett) years ago and used a white rubber hose. It's a Goodyear Washdown hose. However, over the years it's turned a light brown and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on 'restoring' the rubber hose back to white? Thanks!!

I have read articles for cleaning white cloth items. Try oxiclean. Put enough water in shallow pan to cover the item, then mix in a cup of oxiclean (depending on size of pan maybe more than a cup) lay item to where it covers the cloth. Let soak for 24 hours then dump water add new water and oxiclean soak for another 24 hours. Repete this for 7 days. I am going to try this on a NOS white service station hat that I have that turned light tan (yellow). They used this system on vintage clothes that have yellowed. Dont scrub just soak and rinse.
