Since you're willing to settle for a DX spinner clock other than the exact one that was in your grandfather's station.....and, since original DX spinners seem so hard to find: Why not create a reproduction DX spinner clock for yourself for now? Buy one of the similar-looking original OR reproduction spinner clocks out there. The brand or condition of the face wouldn't matter. Then, go to a good, local sign or auto graphics shop, and have them create the simple D-X face graphic for you. I'm only suggesting this, since you seem very driven to want a D-X spinner as soon as possible. I'm not advocating this solution....just suggesting it as a possibility. John |
