WHEN IT COMES TO PUBLIC ONLINE MESSAGE BOARDS, I PREFER NEVER TO MENTION WHERE I'M GOING AND WHEN. IT BASICALLY MEANS I WON'T BE HOME.
DEF A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY!

YOU SHOULD NEVER MENTION TRAVEL PLANS ON FACEBOOK EITHER....SINCE THAT'S A BIT CLOSER TO HOME THAN OLDGAS!

I SAY THIS BECAUSE I'M A SINGLE GUY AND WHEN I'M NOT HOME, NOBODY IS HOME! wink

Hi Lucky,

I never say where I am going, but for a different reason from Doc's.I don't do it because it tells others that there is probably something good in that area.

Believe it or not, someone with more time on their hands than you just might get there before you do.I keep my sources to myself.Just something to think about.

I am going to Shorewood, Il on Sunday, I hear there is a garage with full of gas/oil signs and a nice 50s ford truck, free for the taking, should only have a 8 hour window of time I figure. grin

IF someone is planning on stealing your stuff, they have already observed your daily habits & knows the best time to take what they want. OR it will be a random petty theft.

Wow really??? I'm glad to see you guys think that way, simple post and all in good fun. I sure hope someone does not take the time out of there life to plan something so stupid. Besides if someone wanted to steal my stuff so be it. There are more important things in life other than a metal sign and old sheet metal truck. Don't get me wrong I do love em! That and the old lady would thank the good Lord for having a parking spot in the garage again.

I just wanted to hear some fun stories and good ol road trips
