I came across this item and don't know what it is. It is slightly smaller than a dime. There is a Texaco logo on one side, the other side is blank, the edge is smooth. I'd guess it might be an insert from a button, but honestly don't know for sure. I'd like to know what it actually is.

Probably came off a hat there were 1 on each side of the hat like a button.
